Cell-Loc Location Technologies announces commercial launch of Saskatoon network 

Calgary, AB, December 08, 2004 – Cell-Loc Location Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: LTI) (“CLTI”or the “Company”) today announced the commercial launch of its wireless Beacon network in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  CLTI’s 75 percent owned subsidiary, citytrac Ltd. is now selling wireless location services to customers in the Saskatoon market.

Michael L. Barker, P.Eng., President and CEO of citytrac, (a former employee of CLTI and prior to that a Canadian sales manager for  Motorola), acquired the license for the Company’s Beacon technology for the province of Saskatchewan along with an option to acquire the rights to the province of Manitoba. Through the license agreement Barker earned a 25% equity interest in citytrac.

“After extensive evaluation of various technologies, we have determined that CLTI’s low cost location based services are ideal for fleet tracking, asset monitoring, and stolen vehicle recovery applications.  In addition, the Beacon is also capable of transmitting small amounts of data for telemetry applications.” said Barker.  “citytrac provides a powerful, yet easy to use tracking service that is ideal for those customers who need to know where their vehicles or assets are within the city.  A small wireless battery-operated Beacon is placed in a vehicle, attached to an asset or carried by a person.  Authorized users are able to view the locations of their specific Beacons via a secure internet web based map.  We are excited to be able to offer these services to customers in Saskatoon.”
